Radhika Aggarwal is an Indian entrepreneur and the co-founder of ShopClues, one of India’s largest e-commerce marketplaces. She founded the company in 2011 along with her husband Sandeep Aggarwal and co-founder Sanjay Sethi.
Early Life and Education: Radhika Aggarwal was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. She completed her schooling from Sophia Girls’ School in Meerut and later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Advertising and Marketing from the prestigious Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge.
Career: After completing her studies, Radhika worked for various advertising agencies such as JWT and Rediffusion Y&R. She then went on to work for the UTV Group where she played a pivotal role in setting up the digital arm of the company. Her experience in the media and advertising industry paved the way for her entrepreneurial journey.
ShopClues: In 2011, Radhika and her husband Sandeep Aggarwal, who was then working in the United States as an analyst on Wall Street, decided to start their own venture. They noticed a gap in the Indian e-commerce market and believed that there was an opportunity to create a platform that catered to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
ShopClues was founded with the aim of providing an online marketplace for Indian merchants to sell their products to a wider audience. The platform focused on non-branded products and offered a range of products across various categories such as fashion, home and kitchen, electronics, and more. The company differentiated itself by offering low prices and a large selection of products, making it popular among price-sensitive Indian consumers.
Under Radhika’s leadership, ShopClues has grown rapidly and has become one of India’s largest e-commerce marketplaces. The company has over 7 lakh registered merchants and offers more than 3.5 crore products across 30,000 categories. It has also raised significant funding from investors such as Tiger Global Management, Helion Venture Partners, and Nexus Venture Partners.

In 2015, she was named among the ‘Top 15 Women Entrepreneurs’ by The Economic Times. In 2016, she was featured on the Forbes Asia ’30 Under 30′ list and was also recognized as one of the ‘Most Powerful Women in Indian Business’ by Business Today.
Philanthropy: Radhika Aggarwal has also been actively involved in philanthropy and social causes.
