Nokia and Lightstorm improve India’s digital infrastructure.

Nokia and Lightstorm partnered in India to improve optical networking infrastructure. Lightstorm’s eastern and northern expansion will use Nokia’s latest WDM optical network technology.

“Our partnership with Lightstorm showcases our industry-leading portfolio in optical networking, which will be integral to the Digital India vision,” said Vinish Bawa, Head of Enterprise, Webscale and Emerging business, India at Nokia.
Lightstorm will receive integration and consulting services to deploy Nokia’s latest C+L band WDM optical line system solutions, which offer network resiliency in the case of multiple fibre cuts.

Our relationship with Nokia will enable rapid network route extension with increased capacity. “Lightstorm’s expanded coverage will help us meet customer demand and drive the Digital India vision,” said Rajiv Nayyar, Chief Operating Officer.
Lightstorm innovates carrier-neutral digital infrastructure for enterprises. Their SmartNet long-haul route in India gives enterprise customers next-generation network design with reduced latency, 100% uptime, and full end-to-end control and management.
