With the introduction of Tira, Reliance Retail competes against major beauty brands like Nykaa and Tata Cliq.
Reliance Retail launched its beauty platform, Tira, on Tuesday in New Delhi, marking the company’s entry into the beauty industry. The platform will face off against other well-known competitors in the market including Tata Cliq and Nykaa.
Tira will sell luxury goods, cosmetics, men’s grooming products, skin and hair care products, and fragrances. Reliance intends to sell both its private label and a sizable selection of high-end and luxury brands through this beauty e-commerce platform.
The website is presently accessible to all Reliance staff, but customers will have access to it in a few weeks. The sources claim that the platform might become publicly accessible in March.
Media reports claim that the corporation is focusing on both online and offline venues as part of its omnichannel retail strategy for Tira.
By investing in major players like Manish Malhotra and Ritu Kumar among others over the past few years, Reliance Retail has already made a mark in the fashion sector. With the introduction of Tira, Reliance is now aiming to compete in the cosmetics industry.
