After its recent merger with Inox Leisure Ltd., the Indian cinema chain PVR Ltd. has announced that it will be opening a new multiplex at the Lulu Mall in the city of Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The superplex with eleven screens has a total capacity of 1,841 seats for patrons. PVR will now have a total of 158 screens across 32 different properties in Uttar Pradesh as a result of the new launch.
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was on hand for the opening of the newest location, which took place in the presence of Ajay Bijli, managing director of PVR Ltd. The theatre is fitted with SP4K laser projectors, which are capable of delivering extremely high resolution, cutting-edge Dolby Atmos surround sound, and Real D 3D digital stereoscopic projection, among other technological advancements.

PVR Cinemas has expanded its presence in Faridabad by opening a new multiplex with four screens and 786 seats at the Pebble Downtown Mall on Mathura Road.
